The City of North Bricksfield Fire Department Headquarters was built in 1994. It is located at 124 Gearing Street in the center of the city. Headquarters is the operations center of the department. It is home to the Department Chief's office, Department Commissioner's office and the offices of the Assistant Chiefs. The communications center of the city was housed at Headquarters before 1994 when the new Headquarters was built. The current Headquarters houses a back-up Communications center if the current communications center at Station 4 is unable to handle calls. Headquarters also houses Battalion 4. Headquarters houses 6 pieces of apparatus:
