Station 10

"TEN HOUSE"

Station 10 is nicknamed "Ten House" because it houses Engine 10 and Ladder 10. It is located on the lower east side and serves the Financial District. "Ten House" is also home to the administrative offices of the fire department. Engine 10 and Ladder 10 were the second busiest engine and ladder in the City in 2003. Both were beat out for most runs by less than 50 runs. Engine 10 is one of the city's 4 paramedic engines. Station 10 also operates the city's Safety Battalion. The Safety Battalion is a like any command battalion but is also called to major incidents to be serve as Safety Officer. Station 10 house:
