Since its inception in 1934, 27 firefighters from the City of North Bricksfield have lost their lives in the line of
duty. These firefighters are memorialized on a wall at Headquarters. In addition to the 16 career firefighters
who have lost their lives, 3 volunteer firefighters from prior to 1934 are also memorialized on the wall.
